Product Description: Colorless monoclinic prism crystal. Both crystals and solutions can absorb oxygen from the air to form insoluble oxychloride. Decompose under strong heat. Extremely soluble in dilute or concentrated hydrochloric acid, soluble in water less than its own weight, and when dissolved in large amounts of water, forms insoluble alkaline salts, soluble in ethanol, ethyl acetate, glacial acetic acid, and sodium hydroxide solutions.
